Biographical Info

Mohini Aras, MD is an Assistant Professor of °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  Dr. Aras cares for patients with obesity and weight-related medical complications at the Comprehensive Weight Control Center within the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She received her BEng from the University of California- Berkeley and her MD from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University.  Dr. Aras completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and her Obesity Medicine fellowship at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵC/NYP. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.  She is a member of The Obesity Society and gives lectures and publishes peer-reviewed articles on Obesity Medicine and weight management.
