About Esther Cheng, D.O.
Dr Cheng trained in this department for four years as a resident in AP/CP, and completed a Fellowship Training in Breast Pathology. She is board-certified in both AP and CP. During residency, her participation in translational research resulted in multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and departmental conferences. She won multiple awards for participation in translational research work including Best Research Presentation at the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Resident Research Day in 2015 and 2016, Best Pathology Digital Photo Contest at the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Resident Research Day and Best Poster Abstract Presentation at American Society of Dermatopathology. She became ASCP's 40 Under Forty Honoree along with 39 other distinguished junior pathologists. As a medical student, she was awarded membership into Psi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Phi (Omega Chapter).
