I am passionate about working in Primary Care because I love to develop long lasting relationships with my patients. I am drawn to the holistic approach of treating my patients involving not just their medical needs but also the social factors influencing their health. This comprehensive approach ensures I can provide optimal care that addresses all aspects of my patient’s well-being.
Dana Waxenberg is originally from Westchester, New York. She went to college at Lehigh University where she studied Biology and Spanish. She earned her degree as a Physician Assistant at South University in Richmond, VA and then started her career in Primary Care at Bellevue Hospital. She has particular interest in preventative medicine, lifestyle medicine, and endocrinology.
